Watch Care Guide

Store them separated

The cardinal rule of watch storage: cases and bracelets should never rest against each other. Steel on steel is how hairline scratches happen. Every watch gets its own slot, its own pillow, its own space — at home and on the road.

Pillow fit matters

A watch should sit snugly on its pillow with the bracelet closed, the way it sits on your wrist. Too loose and it slides and rattles; too tight and the bracelet is strained. Our rolls use individual, detachable pillows so you can position each piece properly — and swap pillows between slots as your rotation changes.

Why a roll beats a hard case for travel

Hard cases protect against crushing — and take up half a carry-on doing it. A padded roll protects against the thing that actually damages watches in luggage: contact. It conforms to the space around it, keeps every piece separated and cushioned, and lands in a hotel drawer as a ready-made home base for your rotation.

Strap care

Store straps flat and unbuckled where you can, away from direct sun. Leather straps want rest days between wears; NATOs and fabric straps can be hand-washed in mild soap and air-dried. A strap roll keeps them separated, crease-free, and findable — instead of tangled in a drawer.

Before you pack

Wipe each watch down with a soft microfiber cloth (skin oils and sunscreen are hard on gaskets and finishes), close every bracelet and clasp, and give screw-down crowns a final check. Thirty seconds of care, every trip.
